We are a husband and wife team who trained in Europe, graduating
more than a decade ago from ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
We had our own practice in Belgium, but also did Emergency Room
and Intensive Care Unit coverage, as well as donating our time as
physicians in the service of the Belgian Red Cross.
After relocating to the USA, we completed Residency in Internal
Medicine at LSU. While waiting for the right opportunity to start a
practice in Florida, we worked for the Veterans Administration
Hospital in Louisiana. Muriel also worked in a Radiation Oncology
Center and Steve covered a traditional private practice. We settled
in Bradenton at the end of 2002 with our son Alexi, who was 18
months old at the time. In 2004 we welcomed the birth of our
daughter Nathalie.
We are on staff at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and at Manatee
Memorial Hospital.
